After Eddie Hoyt and Stephanie Sosa got eliminated last week, bringing the Top 10 to Top 8, 'So You Think You Can Dance' returned on August 26 for a live episode and we had to say goodbye to two contestants, sadly.

Last week, Ezra Sosa and Anna Linstruth joined Eddie and Stephanie in the bottom four, but they were saved by the judges. Back again this week, the contestants performed once again for the judges and audience. At the end of the episode, two more contestants were sent home.

After their solo, group, and paired performances, the votes were tallied and Anna, Benjamin, Ezra, and Madison were in the bottom four with the lowest votes. This is the second straight week that Ezra and Anna made it to the bottom. The judges had the option of saving two contestants and chose to save Ezra and Madison, which left us saying goodbye to Anna and Benjamin.

The other four contestants who went straight to the Top 6 were Mariah Russell, Bailey Munoz, Gino Cosculluela, and Sophie Pittman. Though everyone's performance stood out in unique ways, Gino and Sophie's performance was the highlight of the evening.

Gino and Sophie were paired this week, after their partners, Eddie and Stephanie got eliminated last week. But seems like things worked out in their favor, as their chemistry and pairing couldn't get any better with their performance.

They had two couple performances, one was a contemporary routine choreographed by KC Monnie. Performing to "You Will Be Found" from the Dear Evan Hansen soundtrack, they ooze out with chemistry, so much so that Nigel called it "magnificent." Mary revealed that their performance was memorable and will live on till the next season.

Their second routine was a fun Jazz performance to Trouble by Elvis Presley. Though it was a fun routine, it did have its hectic moments. Overall, the entire performance was energetic and left everyone including the judges wanting more. After their performance, Mary said, "You guys are a threat to be reckoned with." Which is very apt for the duo, as they have been acing their performances this week.

We can't wait to see what the future holds for them and if they will be moving on to the Top 4. 'So You Think You Can Dance' season 16 airs every Monday night on Fox. Check your local listings for more information.
