Authorities in Montana are looking for an infant, who they believe was kidnapped by the baby's non-custodial father. The Amber Alert also warned of the baby's father and possible kidnapper being 'bipolar and off his medication'.

The six-month-old baby boy called Lucas James Warner was last seen around 3 pm on Saturday, August 22, in Flathead County's Columbia Falls. The Montana Department of Justice soon issued an Amber Alert at 11:46 p.m. The child's noncustodial father is a 20-year-old man called Andrew Lawrence Warner. He is believed to be accompanied by the 19-year-old Hayli Emerson, and both are accused of abducting the baby boy and fleeing in a white 1998 pickup truck. Authorities have revealed that the vehicle has dark pinstriping and a red interior with the Montana license plate 720745A.

“Andrew is reportedly bipolar and off his medication. Lucas is believed to be in danger as a court has ruled Andrew as an unfit parent,” the amber alert issued for the baby notes. Authorities also believe that the pair - Andrew and Hayli - along with the kidnapped child, may be headed for the Bob Marshall Wilderness in Wyoming, North Dakota, or South Dakota. Anyone with information is asked to call the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office at (406) 758-5610 or dial 911.

The news of this parental abduction comes shortly after another parent - a teen mom, was charged with murdering her baby. As previously reported by MEA WorldWide, on August 20, Megan "Maggie" Boswell of Sullivan County, Tennessee, was indicted and charged with the murder of her 15-month-old daughter, Evelyn Mae Boswell. The girl's remains had been found earlier this year in March, after she was reported missing in February. Five months later, the Sullivan County District Attorney General, Barry Staubus, as well as other officials have announced in a press conference that a Tennessee grand jury had finally indicted Megan on 19 charges which include two counts of felony murder.

In addition to the two counts of false reporting, Boswell will also be facing charges of one count of aggravated child abuse, one count of aggravated child neglect, one count of tampering with evidence, one count of abuse of a corpse and one count of failure to report a death under suspicious, unusual, or unnatural circumstances. Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Director David Rausch said, "As we struggle to understand why or even how someone would even harm an innocent child, we will never know because thank God most of us are not wired that way, but we can certainly try our best to make sure those responsible for these incomprehensible acts are held accountable."

He added: "Today's indictment is the first step in ensuring that happens. Our hearts and prayers go out to the family and friends who loved baby Evelyn. She didn't deserve this. No child does." An Amber Alert had been issued for Evelyn on February 19, two months after the toddler was last seen in December 2019. Megan is currently being held at the Sullivan County Jail on a $1 million bond, authorities have revealed. Her next hearing is scheduled to take place on Friday, August 28.
