Chloe (Dia Nash), already wary of Caleb's (Matthew Daddario) controlling behavior, decides to meet with friends to explain her situation.

Caleb, suspecting something, calls her repeatedly, prompting Chloe to leave in a panic. This incident marks the beginning of the end of Caleb's manipulation and control over the women in his life.

Caleb's attempt to attend church with his first wife, Anna (Ashley Williams), ends in humiliation when the priest rejects them due to their polygamous lifestyle.

Angered by the rejection, Caleb lashes out violently at Anna when they return home, hitting her in a fit of rage.

Meanwhile, Margo (Ashley Dulaney), another of Caleb's wives, overhears him indoctrinating their daughter Maizy (Addison McKenzie) with his twisted beliefs about a woman's role.

Disturbed by this, Margo confides in Chloe, expressing her fears about Caleb's influence on their children.

One night, Margo attempts to escape, but Caleb catches her and drags her back into the house, assaulting her in his anger.

He then instructs Chloe to take care of Margo’s daughter, as he plans to take Margo away for the weekend.

When Caleb returns alone, he claims that Margo is gone. Chloe, skeptical, insists that Margo would never leave without her daughter.

However, Anna, who blindly trusts Caleb, reassures Chloe that Margo must be fine.

Suspicion mounts when Chloe receives a text from Margo's phone, purportedly from Margo, saying she needs time alone.

Doubts arise when Chloe FaceTimes Margo for her daughter and hears Margo's phone ringing inside the house.

In a moment of panic, Chloe searches the house and finds Margo’s phone hidden in a drawer, but Anna catches her.

Anna pretends to support Chloe by suggesting they go to the police. Instead, she drives Chloe to a house where Caleb is waiting.

Caleb confronts Chloe, accusing her of finding Margo's phone. He concocts a story that Margo left due to drug issues, but Chloe doesn't believe him.

When Chloe steps outside, she discovers Margo's bracelet and a freshly buried spot, realizing the worst has happened.

Anna then confesses to helping Caleb bury Margo, justifying it by saying Margo was not a good wife and that only a husband has authority over his wife.

Desperate and terrified, Chloe runs and hides, calling the police. Caleb and Anna find her, and Caleb prepares to attack her with a rod.

In a moment of courage, Chloe confronts Caleb, telling him he is an embarrassment to God.

As he attempts to strike her, Anna, realizing the horror of their actions, hits Caleb on the head, stopping him. The police arrive and arrest Caleb, putting an end to his reign of terror.

In the aftermath, Chloe shares a heartfelt moment with Margo’s daughter, Maizy, and together they bring Maizy to her grandmother, ensuring she will be safe and loved.
