Spoilers for 'Sistas' Season 2

'Sistas' Season 2 premiered with two episodes 'The Lonely Road' and 'High Crimes,' bringing with it intense drama surrounding FBI agents, stabbings and shootings, and of course relationship drama. Since the end of Season 1, fans have been anticipating this season and they weren't disappointed. Despite complaining about the number of ads that took over the premiere, audiences were satisfied with the BET drama's Season 2 debut.

"Great premiere @tylerperry the cast killed it. Ready for next week’s episode #SistasOnBET," wrote one fan. Another added, "Damn Sabrina. I hope she don't lose her job. This 2hr premiere has been very fulfilling #SistasOnBET." The season premiere took a deep dive into Gary Marshall Borders (Chido Nwokocha) arrest, his toxic relationship with Andrea 'Andi' Barnes (KJ Smith), Zac's (Devale Ellis) and Karen Mott's (Ebony Obsidian) relationship, Sabrina Hollins's (Novi Brown) involvement with the FBI and a bit on Maurice's (Brian Jordan Jr) recovery. It's no wonder fans found the premiere fulfilling because each character from the main 'Sistas' group was given a push in their narrative.

And fans found the showcase quite rewarding as a viewer tweeted, "Finally awake to see this season two premiere of #SistasOnBET and the drama is already at 100!!!"

The show has garnered a huge fan base, with Twitter now having an emoji for the show as well. Fans were live-tweeting through the entirety of the two hours, gasping at the audacity of some of the characters and speculating at the possibility of many twists and turns. "#SistasOnBET Tyler Perry knew what he was doing by having a two hour season 2 premiere," wrote one fan. Another added, "#SistasOnBET Season 2 premiere was good. Maurice and Dani were funny and I was hooked all the way through. Andi is getting real annoying. Just stop fooling with Gary and move on. S2E1 and S2E2 get a 7/10."

Of course, many many fans were upset at the number of commercials during the premiere. In their defense, it did seem a lot more than usual. "When they say 2 hour season premiere it really be an hour & 30 minutes because of all the commercials #SistasOnBET ," wrote one fan. Another added, "Theses commercials took over the 2hr premiere #SistasOnBET."

Either way, loyal fans were charmed, congratulating the cast and showrunner Tyler Perry on a great premiere."This 2 hour Premiere of my show is awesome @MinnieV23 killed @kjsmithofficial & @EObsidian killed & @iamnovibrown killed it my baby's are back & better than ever #SistasOnBET #BlackGirlMagic #BlackGirlsRock #Canada #Swag," wrote one fan. "Great episode so far! Seriously, you almost forget this was worked on during the pandemic because it jumps right back into the story in amazing fashion! Kudos @tylerperry #SistasOnBET," added another fan.

So, all we can do is now wait for next week to see what happens with Zac and Karen, if Andi goes back to Gary and if Sabrina really loses her job. Either way, the premiere set up a huge foundation for the season and fans weren't disappointed, so it's safe to say, we're all in for a ride this season.

'Sistas' Season 2 airs on Wednesdays on BET at 9 pm EST.
