'Sistas' Season 2 Episode 4: Is Gary jealous even while getting help in jail? Fans want Andi to 'leave him'

Of course, instead of being worried about his case, Gary instead decides to question Hayden on when he had spent time with Andi and how long

Spoilers for 'Sistas' Season 2

This episode saw Hayden (Chris Warren), the lawyer, on the behest of Fatima (Crystal Hayslett) help Gary Marshall Borders (Chido Nwokocha) get out of jail. The lawyer seems to be only doing this for Fatima and met with Andrea "Andi" Barnes (KJ Smith) to discuss the case. However, when he went over to see Gary in prison, it seems that the overprotective and controlling Gary could only think about why Hayden was spending time with Andi.

Gary and Andi have so far been the center of attention in Season 2. Four episodes in and we're still dealing with the aftermath of their toxic relationship and Gary's shady dealings. Gary was arrested and jailed because there is compelling proof that he had been embezzling money. He keeps claiming he's innocent and that one of his ex-wife's had put him in this position.

The problem is, that in this process, he had put money into Andi's account with the help of Sabrina Hollins (Novi Brown) resulting in the FBI raiding Andi's place and office and Sabrina out of a job.

This is not the first time that fans have called out Gary in the way he is as a boyfriend. He is controlling, insecure and very jealous. And we all want Andi to walk away from him. When Hayden comes to visit Gary in jail to speak to him about his case, Gary was worried about the wrong thing.

In the conversation, Hayden had brought up the money that Gary put into Andi's account, telling Gary that that's why she lost everything. Gary replied that Andi was a great woman, to which Hayden agreed. That set off jealous sparks with Gary who hit Hayden with a "What did you say?" Hayden explained that although she had not worked with Andi before, they do work at the same firm and that yes, she is a great woman. 

"Gary still worrying about the next man from behind bars #SistasOnBET Andi baby? Quit looking back.," wrote one fan. Another added, "Gary a trip .... he tryna help you and you worried about the wrong thing #SistasOnBET"

Of course, instead of being worried about his case, Gary instead decides to question Hayden on when he had spent time with Andi and how long. To be honest, we don't understand how this man who needs help and has Andi helping him, still has the nerve to be this arrogant and insecure. Of course, Hayden can hold his own and asked Gary if there was something he wanted to say and Gary immediately cowered and acted like a child.

Fans were left wondering what this man has up his sleeve. He wouldn't tell Hayden what he had planned for Andi but that he had planned something to help her out. We found out later in the episode that Gary send a box full of cash to Fatima so she could give it to Andi. Fans really want Andi to move on regardless if Gary is innocent or not. 

"I need Andi to stop ignoring the red flags... Gary is dangerously jealous... it’s annoying  #SistasOnBet," wrote one fan. Another fan tweeted, "@Yea_imChido Gary, you sure got some nerve, trying to be jealous when you need help getting out! Smh. Never bite the hand that feeds you! @SistasOnBET #SistasOnBET @tylerperry @BET."

Yet another fan insisted that Andi leave Gary tweeting, "I HATE Gary! He’s so arrogant and full of himself. Just an idiot! Can’t even help himself with his overly jealous ass! I just need Andi taken care of then PLEASE leave this emotionally abusive shell of a man. #SistasOnBET."

It's obvious fans were really upset at this scene. Gary is in a lot of trouble with the FBI and Andi (even though we don't want her to) is doing ther best to help him get out of there. One would think that Gary would be grateful, instead, he seems to have not humbled himself one bit. "Gary really this is not the time for your jealous shyt! Calm yo azz down! #SistasOnBET," wrote one fan. Another added, "Is Gary serious right now?? How you jealous and handcuffed #SistasOnBET "
