'Singled Out': Release date, plot, cast, trailer and all you need to know about Quibi's upcoming reality dating series

Quibi is bringing back fan-favorite MTV reality tv dating series tilted 'Singled Out' with a modern twist. Social distancing might just get a little better now, as America's first-ever mobile-only streaming service, Quibi is set to launch on April 6th. While there is less than a week left for the streaming service to premiere with its list of new shows, there is still a little mystery left. 

Starting from Chrissy Teigen’s 'Chrissy’s Court', Joe Jonas's 'Cup Of Joe', 'Punk'd', 'Flipped' and 'Floored' each show will be around 10 minutes or less. Amongst the ones premiering on the day of Quibi's launch, is 'Singled Out', a reimagined version of the 1990s dating show. 

Here's everything you need to know about this modern twist to an old concept. 

Release Date 

'Singled Out' will premiere only on Quibi on April 6th, 2020. 

Plot 

The reimagined version of 'Singled Out' will hook up singles of every gender and sexual preference. The season consists of 20 bite-sized episodes. Livin in a generation where everyone is connected, 'Singled Out' is bringing online dating to life but with a twist. There will be one main dater who is linked to a pool of diverse singles all through social media.

Host 

Keke Palmer

Keke Palmer is an actress, singer, songwriter and television personality. Her debut album 'So Uncool' was released in 2007. She began her acting career with 'Barbershop 2: Back in Business' in 2004. Talking about hosting the show on Quibi, in a statement, Keke shared, "To be able to reimagine this show for my generation and on a new platform is so exciting. I Can’t wait for you guys to see what we have in store!”

Joel Kim Booster

Joel Kim Booster is an actor, comedian, and writer who is well known for his stand up special titled, 'Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents'. Joel also co-hosted a digital series titled 'Unsend' with Patti Harrison. He is also the writer for 'The Other Two' that premiered in 2019.
