'Siesta Key': With love triangles getting messier by the day, will Juliette choose between Robby and Alex?
'Siesta Key' is getting messier, thanks to the ever-changing equations — best friends not talking anymore, girls are torn between two lovers, police reports and theft accusations.
At Brandon Gomes' 24th birthday, Madisson Hausburg appeared concerned about him getting close with Amanda Miller. She even warned him that Amanda does not have his best interests at heart, hinting that she could be using him. Later, Madisson and Amanda meet to put an end to the discussion. She assured Madisson that there were no hidden intentions behind them dating.
But, with JJ (Amanda's ex) entering the scene, things changed drastically for the couple. At the cruise, Amanda was cheering on JJ as he wakeboarded but was amused when Brandon tried his hands at it. The difference in attitude was clear.
In today's episode, Amanda has a fun time at the beach with her ex JJ and she kept shushing Chloe Trautman as she tried to spill the tea to Brandon when he called for a quick video chat. This was days after Brandon had asked if they could be "exclusive" but Amanda refused and said that she wouldn't like to label their relationship.
If anything, the love triangle is toxic and it is not going to get any of the three people any happiness.
Juliette Porter and Robby Hayes, who have been dating for a while, are treading choppy waters now. Their trip to Greece was great but upon returning to Siesta Key, she realized how she has been pushing her friends away to keep Robby in his life. Robby convinces her that they do not mean well, citing Alex Kompothecras' (Juliette's ex and Robby's friend) messages where he jokes about their relationship.
However, Juliette decided to meet Alex and finish off their relationship once and for all but what happened next was they ended up in a war of words with her claiming that he wasn't over their relationship yet because he is yet to find anyone hotter than her. Alex laughed it off and said that he has a girl who is a perfect 10 (hinting at Alyssa, Juliette's hairdresser and Alex's childhood friend). They leave the scene hurt and harboring bitter feelings for one another.
One would have thought it would be the end of Juliette and Alex, but their argument drew out longer than usual and spilled into Amanda's birthday party. Juliette questions Alyssa's motives with Alex, but he steps in and inquires about their little chat. Alyssa comes to the conclusion that Alex still loves her and hasn't been able to move on.
Meanwhile, Kelsey Owens has kickstarted a track of her own with Jake (Robby's friend). They never got close but there was a spark, which never got to see the light of the day until recently. At Amanda's party, Kelsey took Jake away for a drink as he was starting to get into a verbal spat with Alex. Earlier, she was spotted playing a game of tennis with him while engaging in a fun talk about how bad both of them were at the sport.
There was a chemistry building and Jared Kelderman (the guy Kelsey has been casually dating) could see it. Although he didn't stop Kelsey from doing her thing, but Jared did look concerned about their relationship status. He even discussed it with JJ.
Will these love triangles ever cease to exist? Only time will tell. But for now, the couples seem to be enjoying the non-exclusiveness of their relationships.
