'Siesta Key': Chloe sabotaging Alex's relationships to get close to him is embarrassing to watch, say fans
Chloe Trautman has had a thing for Alex Kompothecras for the longest time and in the past, he even admitted to having been aware of her feelings for him. Alex told Juliette Porter that Chloe has been trying to sabotage his every relationship since forever.
"Chloe's an old friend of mine and I don't know if it's revenge, but Chloe told me that I'm the guy she wants to spend the rest of her life with and that she's in love with me," Alex told Juliette in the previous season. She successfully managed to remove Juliette from the picture and now that Cara Geswelli and Alex are warming up to each other, she found another opportunity to stir the pot. During a casual conversation, Chloe shared that Cara did have fun on the side while dating Garrett Miller.
Later, the two leave to inspect the new bar Alex's dad bought, during which Chloe suggested that the bar would work only if it has something on offer for the tourists as well. She pointed out a cocktail menu and a few chairs placed outside would be good for a start. As they got into a more serious discussion about how they would work around making the bar a successful one, she mentioned how Juliette and Robby wouldn't be allowed there, to which Alex agreed.
While enjoying a boat ride with Cara, Alex casually brought it up when she admitted to being in love with Garrett adding that how she never cheated when they were together. But, Alex joked that she did hook up with another person, which totally put off Cara and she began swearing and kept poking Alex so he came out with the whole truth as she wanted to know what he knew. All this while Chloe patiently sat and watched, possibly thinking whether Alex would rat her out.
So, was that the end of Cara-Alex? Did Chloe do it on purpose so that she could be closer to Alex, fans think she is obsessed with Alex.
