MELBOURNE, VICTORIA: A shocking video shows one of Glen Waverley Football Club’s players exposing his genitals while another player performed a sex act on him during Mad Monday celebrations. The video was filmed in a public bar where the players were out for end-of-season celebrations.

According to TMZ, the teammates had made a bet over the course of the day and whoever lost had to give the winner an oral sex. The outlet wrote, "the footy competitors -- who play for Glen Waverley Football Club in Melbourne -- made a bet during a day of heavy drinking on August 14, requiring the loser to perform oral sex." As per the Daily Mail, other patrons at the bar said the team also stole drinks, smashed glasses and were abusive to other customers, while the bathrooms "were covered in vomit."

'Glen Waverley football club WTF'

The video soon went viral, which now has been removed from almost all social media platforms, with one of many commenting, "Glen Waverley football club WTF. Absolute grubs." Another said, "The Glen Waverley Football Club will next year either have no players or a record number of players. One more individual tweeted, "I am somehow on the Glen Waverley Football Club's email list and got an email today addressing an "incident" that happened during "post season celebrations" and I thought, must be bad for them to put out a media release. Just saw the video it refers to. Honestly W.T.F."

Club promises discipline against players

The club released a statement condemning the players' behaviour and said it is “saddened and disappointed." Glen Waverley FC confirmed it is taking immediate action to discipline and educate the players. The statement read, "The committee has been made aware of an incident which has occurred during the post-season celebrations of some of our senior playing group. While this occurred away from the club and was not a club-sanctioned event, we are extremely saddened and disappointed in the behaviour shown by people who should know better. The club is taking immediate action to address the serious breach of our culture and values that has occurred within this incident." It further read, "The individuals involved, along with the broader playing group will be both disciplined and educated and if need be, counselled in the type of conduct expected by members of our Club, along with the physical & emotional impact this has had on the families involved, club members, players and the wider community."
