SHINee’s Choi Min-ho is back from his military services and will be filming for the SBS variety show 'My Ugly Duckling' (also known as 'My Little Old Boy') as an MC. This will be Minho's first variety appearance since he was officially discharged from the military in November 2020. A source from the show told Hankook Ilbo, “SHINee’s Minho took part in filming in late December as a special MC. The episode is planned to air this month.”

'My Ugly Duckling' is a program that centers around mothers of celebrities watching the footage of their son or daughter’s daily life and commentating on it. Minho recently made his first appearance in a drama since his discharge through the KakaoTV original drama 'Lovestruck in the City.'

Born on December 9, 1991, Choi Min-ho better known as Minho, debuted as a member of South Korean boy group Shinee in May 2008 who later went on to become one of the best-selling artists in Korea. Aside from group activities as a singer, he has debuted as an actor in November 2010 in a KBS2's drama special, titled 'Pianist'.He has also appeared in SBS' sitcom, 'Salamander Guru and The Shadows' (2012), 'To the Beautiful You' (2012), 'Medical Top Team' (2013), 'My First Time' (2015) and 'Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth' (2016). On April 15, 2020, he joined the Marine Corps for his mandatory military enlistment. He was discharged on November 14, 2020.
