The spin-off of Freeform’s ‘The Fosters’, ‘Good Trouble’ is deemed one of the best coming-of-age series, thanks to its brilliant representation of socially relevant issues. Although it has gained a reputation for its downtown drama and mind-boggling complications, we ought to credit the actors for pulling off the characters in the best possible ways, whose contribution to ‘Good Trouble’ has made it edgier than its counterparts.

Alice Kwan is one such interesting character the series has presented us. Throughout the two seasons, we’ve seen her go through a vast development, from being closeted to openly address her sexuality.

The role of the Asian American manager of The Coterie is played by the extremely talented and real-life stand-up comic Sherry Cola, who in an exclusive interview with MEA Worldwide (MEAWW) discussed Alice Kwan and also teased numerous possibilities that await us in season 2B.
‘Good Trouble’ is returning to television with Season 2B on January 15 following its winter hiatus.

We’ve already witnessed a lot of drama unfold in the lives of our beloved characters until now. When asked what the forthcoming season has in store for us, Sherry smartly responded, “As a whole, The Coterie will have more fun episodes, similar to Malika’s birthday. We have a fun episode where we're all together and it's kind of a party and we're having a good time.”

Sherry said things are going to get “very spicy” in the second half of the season as new faces that come in are going “stir things up”. However, not revealing too much and trying to magically maneuver her words, Sherry further added, “you'll see deep dives into each character.”

Meanwhile, reflecting on her character’s journey on ‘Good Trouble’, Sherry shared,  “It's very, it's very exciting. I feel really lucky. I've just been kind of hustling and being myself somehow. I'm excited to do more and more and truly make more of an impact as well. Just because, in terms of Asian representation, we're seeing some progress, but there could be like so much more work. Like we were just getting started here.”
