Former Sheriff David Clarke is outraged at the mass panic stemming from the coronavirus outbreak and wants bars and restaurants to remain open despite the pandemic.

The former Milwaukee sheriff railed against government restrictions in a barrage of tweets on March 15 saying people should be allowed to socialize in large groups despite the risk of being infected. What's more? He went on to blame liberal megadonor George Soros for the 'flu panic'.

Several cities are shutting down businesses in order to contain the spread of the highly contagious virus.

"It is now evident that this is an orchestrated attempt to destroy CAPITALISM," Clarke began.

"First sports, then schools and finally commercial businesses," he said. "Time to RISE UP and push back."

According to the conservative firebrand, the US should "let people decide if they want to go out".

"GO INTO THE STREETS FOLKS," he wrote in a separate tweet. "Visit bars, restaurants, shopping malls, CHURCHES and demand that your schools re-open. NOW!

"If the government doesn’t stop this foolishness ... STAY IN THE STREETS," Clarke continued. "END GOVERNMENT CONTROL OVER OUR LIVES. IF NOT NOW, WHEN? THIS IS AN EXPLOITATION OF A CRISIS."

The former sheriff also complained that "not ONE media outlet" had asked about left-wing billionaire Soros' involvement in "this FLU panic".

"He is SOMEWHERE involved in this," Clarke wrote.

The former cop's controversial tweets come at a time when the coronavirus pandemic has sickened more than 150,000 and left almost 6,000 dead.

Meanwhile, the US death toll stands at 69 as of the morning of March 16.

That said, Clarke also railed against bias in mainstream news networks, calling it “totalitarian bigotry” from “the LIBERAL MURDOCH BOYS” saying that Fox News and Fox Business were putting Trish Regan and Kennedy’s shows on hold.

"LIBS running FOX News Ch are stifling free thought and expression. Ok to disagree with her but taking @trish_regan off the air is totalitarian bigotry. It’s what FNC has become. Why I am a contributor now on @newsmax where FREE EXPRESSION IS ENCOURAGED," he wrote.

"Conservative voices remaining at FOX News Channel know they are on a short leash & the slightest provocation of the LIBERAL MURDOCH BOYS running the news will have them taken off the air. @seanhannity @IngrahamAngle @TuckerCarlson @JudgeJeanine work looking over their shoulders," he added in a follow-up tweet.

Clarke, 63, served as sheriff of Milwaukee County from 2002 to 2017 and has been a vocal supporter of President Trump throughout.

The conservative sheriff also threw his support behind Trump at the Republican National Convention in 2016.
