WASHINGTON DC: Joe Biden has reportedly left people gaping in bewilderment after he went off script during a campaign and addressed a woman from the audience saying he knew "when she was 12 and he was 30." After hearing the statement the crowd burst into a laughter. Biden further added that the woman helped get an "awful lot done." Biden, however, did not mention what the woman helped him with and continued with his speech. However, the internet did not fail to mock him for his remark.

"You gotta say hi to me," Biden said while giving a speech at the National Education Association headquarters in Washington DC. "We go back a long way. She was 12, I was 30. But anyway, this woman helped me get an awful lot done," Biden added. The strange statement did not just send shock waves among listeners, but they were all asking the same question: What did he even mean?

Biden, speaking to the teachers union, called out Republicans for supporting gun ownership and for distracting students from learning.

Another tweeted stating that Biden was talking about his wife Jill. The tweet read, "BIDEN: “We go back a long way. She was 12, I was 30.” @POTUS is discussing the first time he met his wife Jill who was his family babysitter at the time."
