LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In the fiercely competitive realm of sports, having the right equipment can be a game-changer.

The Batarse family, hailing from Orange County, California, understood this principle well, which became evident when eight-year-old Gavin Batarse, along with his sister Morgan and father Jon, introduced their simple yet innovative creation, the Glove Wrap, on 'Shark Tank.'

Their product quickly gained widespread attention and secured a deal, though not with the famed investor Kevin O'Leary, aka 'Mr Wonderful'.

Gavin has been an entrepreneur since he was in middle school. Glove Wrap was designed by Gavin, his father, Jon, and his sister, Morgan. Glove Wrap is a more convenient way to break in new gloves.

The family walked into the tank seeking $50,000 for 20% of Gavin's business. Kevin made a joke, expressing that he would not offer a deal, if Gavin didn't drop out.

He wanted Gavin to work for him full-time if the deal was made, which the little inventor swiftly refutes.

Which Shark invested in Glove Wrap?

Lori Greiner stated that she wasn't interested in sports, and Barbara Corcoran didn't think the offering was unusual. Mark Cuban and Michael Rubin struck a deal with little Gavin.

For Gavin's product, Mark Cuban and Michael Rubin returned to the table. Michael stated that he would only invest if Mark joined him.

Glove Up was offered $55,000 for a 22% share, and Gavin accepted!

The official Glove Wrap TikTok account features several videos of Gavin Bartarse meeting professional players on big league teams and giving them a free Glove Wrap for personal use since the company's founding in 2022.

Many of these athletes, such as Mike Moustakas of the Los Angeles Angels and Jon Grey of the Texas Rangers, have expressed good sentiments toward Gavin's business endeavor.

In one specific video, Los Angeles Angels outfielder Brett Phillips sets up his Glove Wrap for one of his own baseball gloves. It has received over a million views on TikTok.
