When it comes to innovation, it is not always about reinventing the wheel, sometimes, it is just about thinking outside the box. Roq Innovation's products HEADLIGHTZ™ and NEKZ seem relatively simple but certainly have great utility. After all, the brand focuses on making life a little easier for its consumers.

However, the real test is being able to impress Mark Cuban, Daymond John, Kevin O'Leary, Lori Greiner and Guest Shark, Peter Jones. Curious to know how Roq Innovation fared? Continue reading to find out!

Raquel Graham, the founder of Roq Innovation, hoped to score a deal of $200,000 for 15% in her company. She explained that she had made $ 1.1 million in sales for her product, HEADLIGHTZ, and was on track to making $1.7 million this year. However, the fact that she had a patent pending since 2018 did bring up some issues. Raquel seemed overwhelmed by the questions coming at her, causing sharks like Peter Jones to back out.

However, Kevin O'Leary was ready to make her deal while calling her a 'crazy chicken'. He was ready to give her the money for no equity but for $2 royalty until he got back his money and would claim $1 royalty after that. However, before they could proceed, Graham addressed the 'crazy chicken' comment, saying that she had previously been diagnosed with fungal pneumonia and nearly lost her life. It was the reason she was so driven. Fans agreed the comment was out of line.

"Absolutely appalled by @kevinolearytv's rudeness tonight on @ABCSharkTank. How dare you refer to that lady as a "crazy chicken". And how dare you not apologize to her after she explained how much that comment hurt her. You are NO mr. wonderful!" tweeted a fan. "The "Crazy chicken" comment was a big oof #SharkTank @ABCSharkTank" added a fan. "F that "crazy chicken" bullshit. It's not affectionate, it's sexist af. #SharkTank @ABCSharkTank" said a fan. "@ABCSharkTank a "crazy chicken." That was not a term of affection, that was a man with no filter or tact and consideration for his speech in that moment. First time I've ever watched the show and the last lmao so weird and ignorant." noted another.

Inspired by her story, Peter Jones made her an offer of $200,000 for 25%. Having to pick between both sharks, Jones and O'Leary decided to make her a combined offer -- they would get $1 royalty till $600,000 was recovered and would have 20% equity for $200,000. Raquel Graham took the offer and was all set to scale her business.
