‘Shark Tank’ Season 12: Click & Carry grabbed $225,000 deal but should she have sold it to Barbara Corcoran?
Shopaholics, set your eyes on the latest ‘Shark Tank’ product. Click & Carry is a tiny device with gel grip handles and a rotating top, through which you can slide in multiple bags. You can then either carry the bags or wear them over your shoulder.
Kim Meckwood presented the product to the Sharks and confessed how she got the idea after she broke up with her boyfriend and was horrified she would have to carry all the grocery alone. Just like the rest of us, Kim enjoys shopping but hates carrying the bags. One night she dreamt of a solution to the shopping bags dilemma and that's how 'Click & Carry' was born. Seeking $225,000 for 15 percent, she managed to impress the Sharks with her presentation and gave them a huge shock by saying she got through after trying for seven long years. Yes, you heard it right. Well, the seventh time turned out to be a charm!
Although Robert Harjavec and Lori Greiner said no to the deal, Barbara Corcoran asked her a controversial question: Was she willing to sell the entire business? "This is my baby," Kim said while giving a thumbs down to Barbara's offer to get an 85 percent stake. Mark Cuban jumped in saying "this shows where your head and heart is!" In no time, Barbara and Mark decided to club together and gave her an updated offer for a 40% stake where they would figure out all the operations. "Yes, yes, yes," Kim squealed in delight.
Sharks soon spilled their thoughts on social media about the product. Barbara Corcoran tweeted: "Brilliant! Who hasn't been weighed by heavy groceries?! @ABCSharkTank #SharkTank@clickandcarry." Lori Greiner added, "Perseverance pays off! She tried for seven yrs to get on #SharkTank and finally got on! @ABCSharkTank."

Many fans were impressed by the product. "I swear people come up with the best inventions when they create solutions to make their lives easier. Well done! #ClickandCarry #SharkTank," one tweet read and another said, "1. It has promise. 2. It could be a challenge for those with blown shoulder(s). 3. Love you but do those pants come with batteries? The only other time I made a comment about a member of the #SharkTank panel is when @mcuban wore a TIED. Still in shock w/ that one."
A third said, "Call it a guy thing, but I'm straining my arms if it means avoiding that 2nd trip back to the car for the groceries. This seems geared more for one gender. #SharkTank." And a fourth wrote, "@clickandcarry, I go to the Supermarket a few times a week, and this would be GREAT for me. #SharkTank."
