LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Sex\Life' is on everyone's mind for many reasons, especially the one that just came to your mind! Some shows become famous in no time for many hilarious reasons. With Netflix releasing the Season 2 of the drama series soon, we thought we'd do a little review and give you an inside look at some secrets straight from the set of the raunchy and steamy series.

The show became famous for its sexual sass and the fact that it did not shy away from depicting lovemaking in its rawest form. The plot of the series revolves around a middle-aged woman, Billie, a typical suburban woman who lives in Connecticut with her loving husband and children. The plot continues as she begins to remember her life in New York, where she met her bad-boy ex, whom she can not stop fantasizing about, and who later crashes back into her life.

'Sex/Life' is inspired by true story

The show is inspired by a novel titled '44 Chapters About 4 Men' written by BB Easton. The novel is a hilarious and life-changing take on Easton's real-life experiences.

All-female directing team

An all-female directing team - Jessika Borsiczky, Sheree Folkson and Patricia Rozema - helped the actors, especially the female ones, feel confident playing the sex scenes required by the script. Stacy Rukeyser, the creator, showrunner and executive producer of the new Netflix hit series, talked about the all-female direction and how it helped the actors, "Each of the intimate scenes is there for furthering the story or character, and it was quite defined. So, everybody knew what the story was and what they were getting into, and they were excited about it and excited for this new way of showing female sexuality and desire. And obviously, we had all female directors, we had an intimacy coordinator, so everybody felt, I think, really safe and free to explore," reports Collider.

Adam Demos had no body double in shower scene

Viewers went crazy after a certain shower scene from Season 1 and started speculating that Adam Demos' Brad used a body double while filming that scene. Stacy Rukeyser spoke out about the speculation and cleared up any rumors fans may have had. She told Collider, "That's not a body double. I mean, people usually ask, is it real or is it a prosthetic? "And I can tell you what Adam Demos says about it, which is a gentleman never tells. So we are leaving that up to the viewer's imagination."

Season 2 is sure to be just as hot as the last and resolve many questions after the last episode ended the story with a cliffhanger. 'Sex/Life' Season 2 returns to the bedroom on March 2. All six episodes of Season 2 will be available exclusively on Netflix that day. Here's the trailer to get you in the mood for the series.
