The film ‘Secret Headquarters’ has been directed by Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman, the iconic duo behind Project Power and Nerve. The story of the film has been written by Christopher Yost who has previously written the script for the hit film ‘Thor Ragnarok’. The film has been produced by Paramount Pictures and Jerry Bruckheimer Films.

The star cast of ‘Secret Headquarters’ includes Owen Wilson, Walker Scobell, Jesse Williams, Keith L. Williams, Momona Tamada, Abby James Witherspoon, Michael Peña, and several others. The much-awaited superhero fantasy-themed film ‘Secret Headquarters’ is releasing digitally on Paramount+ on August 5, 2022, by 3:01 am EST.

What is the plot of ‘Secret Headquarters’?

The story of the film ‘Secret Headquarters’ revolves around a group of normal school-going children who accidentally stumble across the hidden underground base of the world’s strongest and mightiest superhero which is situated beneath Charlie’s (Walker Scobell) home. At first, all these kids are pumped up to explore the hidden base of this superhero but it turns into a living nightmare for them. Suddenly, this harmless reveal puts the entire world in danger with the human race at stake. We see how creepy supervillains come on earth to fight these kids. These kids must come together as a unit and defeat these eerie supervillains to be alive in order to save the secret base and the world as well.

The film’s story definitely gives hints about it being a fresh family-friendly spin-off where ‘Home Alone’ meets ‘The Boys’.

The official synopsis reads, “While hanging out after school, Charlie and his friends discover the headquarters of the world’s most powerful superhero hidden beneath his home. When villains attack, they must team up to defend the headquarters and save the world”.

The 53-years-old Oscar-nominated star Owen Wilson has been loved by audiences for some of his brilliant performances in films like ‘Zoolander’, ‘Starsky & Hutch’, ‘Wedding Crashers’, ‘You Me And Dupree’, ‘The Internship’, ‘The Big Year’, ‘Marley and Me’, ‘French Dispatch’, ‘Bliss’, ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’, and so on. He was also seen alongside pop queen Jennifer Lopez in the much-loved romantic comedy Netflix film ‘Marry Me’. Wilson is going to be seen playing the character of superhero in ‘Secret Headquarters’ releasing on Paramount+ in August 2022.

Latest news about ‘Secret Headquarters’ film

The movie has been shot in Atlanta, Georgia. Originally, the film was slated for global release on August 12 which was then shifted to August 5, 2022. Paramount+ officially announced that the film is going to be released digitally on their streaming platform by August 5, 2022.
