'Schitt's Creek' season 6: Rose family's story comes to a close, with a perfect goodbye to fans
'Schitt’s Creek' co-creators Daniel Levy and Eugene Levy have announced that the comedy series will end with the upcoming season 6
CBS and Pop’s original comedy series has been confirmed for a sixth and final season, which will be aired in 2020. The season featuring 14 episodes, which is currently in pre-production, will start shooting in a few weeks.
Confirming the news, the show’s co-creators and father-son duo Eugene and Daniel Levy released the following statement. "We are very excited to announce that 'Schitt’s Creek' is coming back for a sixth season on CBC and Pop in 2020! We also wanted to take this opportunity to let you know that we have decided season six will be our last."
The Levys also went on to add that they were thankful for the creative freedom given to them while making the show.
