'Saturday Night Live' has had many celebrities come in and perform their hit song but one that happened to make his mark for being different yet beautiful was David Byrne. Byrne appeared on this week's (February 29) 'Saturday Night Live' and decided to perform his hit song 'Once In A Lifetime' for the viewers.

Sticking to simplicity, Byrne decided to wear a grey suit and perform the entire song with a big dance. To make the performance even better, he was accompanied by a group of people who joined him to sing the chorus and dance to some of the beats in the music.

The performance left the viewers wanting more as his song took them back in time. "Did anyone just see #DavidByrne on @nbcsnl? Wow, oh wow! ‘And you may ask yourself, am I right, am I wrong? And you may say to yourself ‘my god, what have I done?" one user wrote.

Another added, "#davidbyrne@DBtodomundo performing on @nbcsnl tonight. Still so good. There is nothing like 80's music & yes, I will always be stuck musically in the '80s. What is your favorite 80's song or performer?"

Others also thought that his music was unlike any other and his performance on the show was proof of that.

"That performance was just a taste of how wonderful David Byrne’s American Utopia is, and I just wanted to remind everyone that I’ve seen it," read the comment. Another echoed similar thoughts and wrote, "I'm glad to hear David Byrne's been making something of a comeback lately; the dude's work both with Talking Heads and as a solo artist is the kind of stuff that can appeal to anyone."

Byrne was accompanied by John Mulaney as the host for this week. There is no doubt that the duo made everyone fall in love with this week's episode as it left them laughing while enjoying their night with some good music.

'Saturday Night Live' airs on Saturdays at 11:30 pm ET on NBC.
