What happened to Madalina Cojocari?
In a similar tragedy, cops are searching for missing Madalina Cojocari, 11, who went missing from home in Cornelius, North Carolina on November 23, 2022. In the wake of the tragedy, police have arrested Madalina's mother Diana Cojocari, and her stepfather Christopher Palmiter and charged them in January as they failed to report the child missing until December 15, a full 22 days after she disappeared.
Despite the authorities' relentless search, there has been no trace of the 11-year-old which has prompted them to now investigate a possible link between the child's disappearance, drugs, and human trafficking.
