'RuPaul's Drag Race' Season 12: Gigi Goode wins, unhappy fans claim Jan was 'robbed' and deserves justice

Though Jan was safe, fans hearts broke for the queen as they claimed she deserved to win this week

Justice for Jan! Though fans stan Gigi Goode and love the queen, fans aren't glad she won the challenge this week. They say Jan deserves justice after she was robbed from her win. 

'RuPaul's Drag Race' Season 12 returned on Friday night for a new episode, and while fans were glad that Brita finally got sent home, they weren't happy with RuPaul's decision to give this week's win to Gigi Goode.

This week, the queens' maxi challenge was 'Madonna: The Unauthorized Rusical'. The queens had to record their own vocals and lipsync to it. They also had to embody the different stages in Madonna’s career. Michelle Visage helped them record the vocals alongside composers and producers David Benjamin Steinberg and Erik Paparozzi. Jamal Sims choreographed the dance routine for them. 

One thing we learned this week on 'RuPaul's Drag Race' Season 12 is not every queen in the room can sing. But they did give their best and we can't complain about most of them, especially Gigi Goode, Jan, Widow Von Du and Jaida Essence Hall. But the standout amongst them all was Gigi's 'Unapologetic' Madonna and Jan's 'Early' Madonna. While Gigi did have some troubles while recording her vocals, Jan didn't miss a beat or a note.

For their runway challenge this week, the queens paid homage to judge Michelle Visage with 'Night of 1,000 Michelle Visages'. This week seemed to be like a battle of the best between Jan and Gigi as these two queens aced the runway challenge yet again. 

Impressed by her Rusical and runway challenge, RuPaul Charles named Gigi the winner of this week's challenge. Though Jan was safe, fans hearts broke for the queen as they claimed she deserved to win this week. Taking to Twitter, fans affirm the queen was robbed of her win, and deserves justice. 

"I love gigi with all my heart and soul but FFS IF JAN DOES NOT WIN 3 CHALLENGES IN A ROW I AM GOING TO COMPLETELY THROW THIS SHOW OUT OF MY WATCHLIST FOREVER STOP SLEEPING ON THE MF TALENTRY #DragRace," a fan shared. Adding to that another fan said, "Seeing Jan getting robbed really hurts me. But what’s worse is that she is rumored to be eliminated next week’s episode. I can’t believe this ;-; #DragRace." 

"Jan was robbed. No offense to Gigi. I adore Gigi. #DragRace," a fan shared. Another wrote, "@jansportnyc was robbed. I think Gigi is great! But Jan put her foot in it! She EARNED and DESERVED this!"

"Jan was robbed don’t get me wrong Gigi did amazing but jan should have won that one #DragRace," a fan wrote. Another fan added, "JUSTICE FOR JAN!!! #DragRace I get it, it’s all a device for creating tension that makes for good TV, the robbery and the goopery and the tomfoolery of it all. But ugh, Jesus, gross. Truly upsetting." 

"JUSTICE FOR JAN. I AM LIVID. SHE DESERVES THE WORLD. SHE IS A STAR," a fan affirmed.
