'RuPaul's Drag Race' Season 12: Brita eliminated, fans glad they don't have to hear her mention New York again

It didn't take long for Karma to hit Brita, as she found herself once again in the bottom. But the only difference is, she had no one to blame this time

Fans aren't feeling bad after RuPaul Charles eliminated Brita Filter. They are glad she's gone affirming they don't have to hear another episode where she keeps talking about her being from New York.

Last week, we said goodbye to Aiden Zhane after the drag queen lost to Brita in the lipsync battle. Kicking off right where they left off last week, the queens enter the workroom and we witnessed Brita try to sweep her feud with Aiden under the rug. "I love Aiden. She stuck with it. I’m proud of that bitch," Brita said.

That level of fakeness didn't go unnoticed by fans and Widow Von Du who during her confessional, revealed, "Once again, you can just taste the fakeness in the air! Everybody wants to act like they actually gave a sh*t about Aiden. You all wanted her gone. Can somebody tell me when this turned into Best Friends Race? Because back in Untucked, you had a lot to say, but now you don’t.”

But it didn't take long for Karma to hit Brita, as she found herself once again in the bottom. But the only difference is, she had no one to blame this time. 'RuPaul's Drag Race' Season 12 returned on Friday night for an all-new episode, and this week, the queens' maxi challenge was 'Madonna: The Unauthorized Rusical'.

The queens were tasked to do their own vocals and lipsync to it, while they embody the different stages in Madonna’s career. Michelle Visage helped the queens record the vocals alongside composers and producers David Benjamin Steinberg and Erik Paparozzi. Jamal Sims choreographed their dance routine for them.

Over the past few weeks, we have heard Brita brag about being NYC's Entertainer of the Year Award at the Annual Glam Awards in 2018. Performing in the maxi challenge, Brita came out as Cone Bra Madonna, though her funny vocals got her a good response from the judges, her dancing was quite underwhelming.

For their runway challenge, the queens paid homage to Michelle, with 'Night of 1,000 Michelle Visages' as their runway theme for the week. While there were queens like Gigi Goode, Jan and Widow Von Du who stood out, Brita found herself in the bottom two for the second week in a row.

She had to lipsync for life alongside Heidi N Closet to Madonna's 'Burning Up'. While Brita tried to give her best, Heidi stole the show and the judges' attention. RuPaul decided to save Heidi, eliminating Brita.

It was about time, the queen has been in the bottom for a long time, and her elimination was long overdue as fans were done with her because of her attitude. Taking to Twitter after her elimination, fans are over the top glad that she is gone and even happier that they won't get to hear her brag about New York once again.

"At least we don't have to hear @thebritafilter carry on about being from New York anymore. Bye. #DragRace," a fan wrote. Adding to that another fan shared, "I would like to thank Heidi and that hot air balloon on her head for making sure that I never have to hear Brita mention New York again #DragRace."

"WE WONT BE HEARING THAT BRITA IS FROM NEW YORK EVERY FIVE MINUTES ANYMORE," a fan shared. Another added, "YES OMG BYE BRITA HAHAHA TELL NEW YORK I SAY HELLO! LMAOO #DragRace."

"Thank goodness we won’t have another week of brita saying she’s the queen of New York and shoulda coulda woulda," a fan said. Another fan sarcastically wrote, "How did brita not win the challenge? Isn’t she New York’s entertainer of the year?!"

'RuPaul's Drag Race' Season 12 airs every Friday night on VH1. Check your local listings for more information.
