VH1 is all set to draw the curtains on 'RuPaul's Drag Race' Season 12 on May 29, Friday, but fans can sulk later as the channel will air 'RuPaul's Drag Race All-Stars' Season 5 just a week later. 10 queens from previous seasons will return for a re-match, which means twice as much drama, scandal, messiness and more.

Release date

'RuPaul's Drag Race All-Stars' Season 5 will air on VH1 on June 5, Friday, 8/7 c.

Plot

This year it's going to be different. After host-mentor RuPaul Andre Charles announces the challenge winner, she would have to duke it out with a returning lip-sync assassin. If the 'All-Stars 5' queen wins the battle, she gets a $10,000 tip and an opportunity to eliminate one of the bottom-ranking queens (decided by the judges' panel). If otherwise, the tip ceases to exist and the eliminate queen will be decided by a majority vote cast by the main queens.

Cast

The 10 queens competing for $100,000 and a spot in the Drag Race Hall of Fame are: Alexis Mateo (Season 3, 'All-Stars' Season 1), Blair St Clair (Season 10), Derrick Barry (Season 8), India Ferrah (Season 3), Jujubee (Season 2, 'All-Stars' Season 1), Mariah Paris Balenciaga (Season 3), Mayhem Miller (Season 10), Miz Cracker (Season 10), Ongina (Season 1) and Shea Couleé (Season 9). Appearing as guest judges will be RuPaul, Michelle Visage, Carson Kressley and Ross Mathews. In addition to this, the show will also feature a lineup of celebrity judges including Ricky Martin, Tessa Thompson, Madison Beer, Martyn Lawrence Bullard, Nicole Byer, Sarah Hyland, Tommy Dorfman, Bebe Rexha, Jane Krakowski, Sam Richardson and Todrick Hall.
