Is Ronna McDaniel on Kamala Harris' side? Donald Trump endorses RNC chairwoman after she suspiciously deletes tweet

While President Donald Trump is not ready to accept defeat after the November 3 elections, many of his supporters appear to accept so "accidentally". On November 11, Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel implicitly acknowledged Trump’s defeat in a now-deleted tweet saying that Democratic Senator Kamala Harris would have the Senate's deciding vote if there will be a 50-50 split in the chamber.

In her tweet, McDaniel mentioned two Georgia runoff races that could give Democrats an edge over Republicans by winning them 50 seats in the Senate. That can materialize if the Democrat candidates running for Senate from Georgia namely Jon Ossoff and the Rev. Raphael Warnock win their respective races. Presently, Republicans have 50 seats in Senate in the next Congress in contrast to Democrats who have 48. The control of the chamber will be decided in January 2021 where Georgia’s Senate race will be a deciding force to tilt the majority in favor of either Republicans or Democrats.

However, RNC chairwoman Ronna McDaniel tweeted that if the results of the Senate would be vague with neither party winning the popular vote then VP-elect Kamala Harris from the Democrat party will have the final say. McDaniel tweeted in her now-deleted tweet, “If Democrats control Senate: Leader [Charles] Schumer, Budget Chair Bernie [Sanders] (hello socialism), Finance Chair [Ron] Wyden (goodbye tax cuts), Judiciary Chair [Dianne] Feinstein (liberal judges), HELP Chair [Patty] Murray (govt control of health care), Deciding Vote Kamala Harris.”

Many reports suggest Ronna McDaniel’s tweet was deleted later when Trump endorsed her to stay on in her position at RNC, crediting her with much of the support he received. Trump tweeted on November 11 endorsing her, “I am pleased to announce that I have given my full support and endorsement to Ronna McDaniel to continue heading the Republican National Committee (RNC). With 72 MILLION votes, we received more votes than any sitting President in U.S. history - and we will win!” Until now it is not clear if Ronna McDaniel’s tweet was deleted because of Trump.

However, what is known is that Trump has backed McDaniel due to her work for him in the present and past elections. As per reports, McDaniel oversaw investment in the GOP's field and data program amid elections. Her work assisted sitting POTUS Trump to come close in on President-elect Joe Biden in key battleground states, Daily Mail reported. McDaniel’s tweet was retweeted by the Republican Party’s official Twitter account. Later, the RNC responded by reportedly calling the tweet “clearly a hypothetical” before adding “the RNC is fighting every step of the way to ensure all legal votes, and only legal votes, are counted.” Trump supported McDaniel for RNC chair in 2017 too after she helped deliver her home state of Michigan in the 2016 presidential election in which he defeated Democrat Hillary Clinton, Reuters reports.

Until now Trump’s regime and his close aides have not accepted the popular vote that was won by Democrat leader Joe Biden in presidential elections. Trump and his coterie have backed claims of voter fraud which have turned out to be false allegations.

Now as McDaniel deleted her reportedly tweet where she alluded to Harris say in the chamber, and POTUS has endorsed her, rumors are rife saying she admitted Trump’s defeat. A user wrote, “Dear GOP, especially the GOP Chairwoman, as Trump has destroyed your party, you, in your cowardice, remained absolutely silent and refused to speak up and use the voice of reason. For that, we are eternally grateful.”Another wrote, “Poor @GOPChairwoman still having to deny reality.” “Remember when you accidentally admitted that Trump lost? That was awesome.” A user wrote, @GOPChairwoman can you put that tweet back up that @KamalaHarris would be the deciding vote, when Dems control the Senate!"
