LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: A new documentary about ‘serial predatory’ porn king Ron Jeremy shows the former adult movie star struggling with what his friends describe as "signs of dementia". The serial rape trial against Jeremy is currently on hold for now due to the former porn star's growing mental issues.

Jeremy's declining mental health and "signs of dementia" have been explored in a new two-part Channel 4 documentary titled 'Porn King: The Rise and Fall of Ron Jeremy'. The documentary also features the main accusers who spoke out about the terrible acts Jeremy did to them.

Jeremy is facing 34 counts of rape and sexual assault levied by 23 different women, with the alleged crimes spanning two decades. He has been behind bars since 2020 but in early 2022, a court judge suspended his trial over concerns about his mental competence.

The two-part documentary by Channel 4 shows several people noting how Jeremy’s alleged offenses got increasingly "worse" over time, with one clip capturing Jeremy struggling to spell his name while giving fans autographs and asking his mate to check if he is right.

Adult performer Alana Evans, who previously worked with him, said, “Ron was senile. As Ron’s health, his cleanliness, his mental state deteriorated – his behavior got worse. Ron definitely got worse with his offending over time.”

Further in the documentary, he is also seen passing out during several interviews and public meet-ups. Kianna Bradley, who has worked with Jeremy but not is one of his accusers, still considers him as her good friend and says that she saw the early signs of dementia in him. She explained how she could "call him today" and ask him to come over, and he’d just ask who she was.

“He won’t remember who I am until I explain it to him,” she added, saying the same thing could happen again the next time she phoned.

Moss Krivin, Jeremy's personal assistant, said, "I think Ron's tendency to hoard things was very indicative of someone in a state of mental decline."

"Ron's condo was a disaster. It was a disaster. It was literally unliveable, and it just got worse and worse over the years. And then for the last several months, when he was free, he wasn't even living in his condo. He moved across the street to the motel where Janis Joplin died. He was also paying other women to live there, just to have people around him," Krivin said.

A statement at the end of the documentary states that Jeremy's lawyers claimed that he is ‘not mentally competent to stand trial, and that he remains in jail while medical experts evaluate him."

The case against Ron Jeremy started after he was charged with allegedly raping three women and sexually assaulting another in July 2020. It was revealed that the alleged criminal attacks by Jeremy transpired between 2014 and 2019. The actor faced more charges by the district attorney in August 2021. Some of these alleged crimes date back to 1996, with 34 in total being recorded by the district attorney. The victims were believed to be aged 15 to 51.

Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón said, “Far too often, survivors of sexual assault suffer in isolation. We must ensure that survivors have all options available to help with recovery, including trauma-informed services for healing and support to report such crimes."

However, Jeremy, who has appeared in more than 2,200 movies across his 2 decades-long career, has denied all the charges.
