Internet trolls Trump with #WrongTrump in 'dark humor' reaction to Trump's brother Robert's death

President Donald Trump's younger brother Robert Trump died on Saturday, August 16, night in Manhattan. He was hospitalized in New York for bleeding in the brain resulting from a recent fall, according to a report by The Sun. Shortly after the news of his death broke, Twitter was flooded with posts calling for the President's death instead and the hashtag #wrongtrump started to trend heavily on the website.

It's the number 5 trending hashtag on Twitter currently and has crossed over 115K tweets. "Whoever out there gotta run that s*** back and get the right one this time our future rests on your shoulders #wrongtrump," wrote a Twitter user.

"#wrongtrump DANG it!!! Lol. Cmon grim reaper!!! U were supposed to kill DONALD Trump. And not the jr one either haha," read another tweet.

"#wrongtrump is now at peace and free of the burden of being a member of his sad family. I pray that these two brothers may be reunited as quickly as possible," another tweet stated.

Another user, while branding the #wrongtrump jokes as "dark humor" wrote, "#wrongtrump is what I consider "dark humor," very useful in keeping our spirits up in the face of such atrociousness. Staying mindful not to become what we fight: hateful, fearful, vindictive, name-calling, etc. A fine line, so I check in with myself after I laugh! #stayhuman."

A number of Twitter users also took a moment to disapprove of this disturbing trend. A tweet read, "Seriously though, #wrongtrump is very close to a death threat. It's pretty goshdarned awful..."

Another irate user tweeted, "Ppl are so insanely f****d up! Really! #wrongtrump? You ppl have NO souls! Where’s the fkn censoring on this one? Nope, instead, it’s TRENDING! Just take me off this planet, PLEASE! I'm done sharing it with heartless & pure evil people that refuses to see the truth."

Another tweet said, "When I heard of his passing, the first thing I thought of was #wrongtrump would be trending when I opened @twitter
...I was right. This world is a goddamn mess. You are what's wrong with society. Yes, I f**king hate him with every fiber of my being, but, that's just wrong."

The president is expected to attend Robert's funeral.
