'Riverdale' Episode 14 will not air on The CW on Wednesday and has been pushed up by a week.

Taking the teen drama's time slot is 'Howie Mandel's 5th Annual All-Star Comedy Gala' featuring comedians Cameron Esposito, Alonzo Bodden and Rachel Bloom. The 90-minute special could be one of the reasons why the series was moved to February 26.

Fans will surely be disappointed after last week's episode dropped a major shocker. Jughead Jones (Cole Sprouse) was shown to be dead with Betty (Lili Reinhart) standing over his body.

For now, speculations are rife that the sleuth has a plan and this would be part of him unmasking the baddies at Stone Wall Prep.

While we wait for the next episode, here's the official synopsis for a quick read: "THE AFTERMATH — When a night in the woods goes horribly awry, Betty, Archie and Veronica are forced to confront what one of them may be capable of."

Titled 'How to Get Away With Murder', the episode is likely to shed light on what exactly happened after Betty confronted Donna who mentioned a new trigger word that activated Betty's killer genes.

Jughead in 'The Ides of March' was like the guy who woke up on the wrong side of the bed. He gets kicked out of the Quill & Skull society, loses Baxter's Brother book contract and then finds out there's a sex tape out there of him and Betty.

For now, his death comes across as unbelievable. And that Betty was there with a rock in her hand implies she killed him. The episode ends with a gazillion questions and would have left 'Riverdale' fans watching the screens wide-eyed and open-mouthed.

Did Betty kill Jughead? Did Jug fake his murder? And how was it the freakish-four came back to the 'Ides' party when Bret left with Jug and Donna with Betty? There's a lot we don't know.

'Riverdale' will be back on February 26 at 8 pm on The CW.
