'Riverdale' returns after a week's break and the teen drama may finally explain Jughead Jones' (Cole Sprouse) death in 'How to Get Away with Murder'.  Dark Betty Cooper (Lili Reinhart) has been doing the rounds for quite some time this season and speculations are rife that it was the darker version that was responsible for the sleuth's death.

'The Ides of March' was supposed to be about Veronica Lodge (Camila Mendes) and it partly was. However, the episode switched on the thriller mode and went straight to the ominous flash-forward that has been teased since the start of the season. It was just two plot lines that saw the core four unite in the direst of circumstances in the end.

Here's a quick refresher of Jug's storyline in the previous episode. The teen is all done with Stonewall Prep. Bret, Donna, Jonathan, Snooty-nosed Dupont, and the whole works. That he was decommissioned from writing the Baxter Brothers copy was the last straw and he decides to leave, but not before he taught Bret a lesson or that looked like the plan. However, next, we see him, he appears to be dead with Betty standing over him.

Did Betty kill Jughead? Did Jug fake his murder? And how was it that the freakish-four came back to the 'Ides' party when Bret left with Jug and Donna with Betty? There's a lot we don't know, but we can guarantee Episode 14 may start off with the answers.

The official synopsis reads: "THE AFTERMATH – When a night in the woods goes horribly awry, Betty (Lili Reinhart), Archie (KJ Apa) and Veronica (Camila Mendes) are forced to confront what one of them may be capable of. Cole Sprouse, Marisol Nichols, Madchen Amick, Mark Consuelos, Casey Cott and Skeet Ulrich also star. James DeWille directed the episode written by Arabella Anderson (#414.) Original airdate 2/26/2020."
