SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH: Bravo show newbie, Monica Garcia, celebrated her birthday in the new episode of 'The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City' Season 4.

On the way to the party destination, the Bravo co-stars played the 'What colour of house did you choose' game. Monica chose yellow which prompted Heather Gay to say, "That's Ashley's favourite color."

Heather then went on to describe her daughter Ashley Gay's colourful life. Monica chimed in and asked, "Had she had s*x?" She clearly said, "I'm not telling you about my daughter's s*x life.

Monica seemingly didn't find a big deal about her question and noted in the confessional, "Girl are you a bad Mormon or not? I feel like a bad Mormon would talk about s*x."

However, the viewers fumed over Monica's question and slammed her for asking Heather about her 18-year-old daughter's s*x life. A social media user said, "I can’t stand Heather but she’s right to not discuss her daughter’s sex life that’s so fkn weird to expect her to want to do that."

Another person added, "Monica Heather doesn’t want to talk about her daughters sex life it’s nobody’s business." Another critic noted, "Why is Monica randomly asking if her Heather’s 18 year old is having sex? That’s her private business. Weird AF."

Another internet user penned, "Talk about sex yes but NOT about her daughter’s sex life. Especially on camera! Who asks someone if their daughter is having sex? That’s creepy!"

Another X user stated, "Monica wasn’t sex shamed... Heather didn’t want to discuss her daughter’s sex life. Like fuck off with that Monica. Why would she want to discuss her 18 year old’s private sex life on camera."

Another viewer said, "Monica…you lost me for a bit with the Bad Mormon analogy. Heather being as “bad” as she wants has nothing to do with her daughter’s sex life. It’s the same as when Erika (wrongly) thought Denise was being hypocritical for not wanting to discuss sex in front of her kids."

Monica Garcia's 's*x' question makes Heather Gay 'uncomfortable'

After Monica Garcia asked Heather Gay about her daughter, Ashley Gay's private life, the 'RHOSLC' Season 4 star appeared a bit uncomfortable.

Heather noted in the confessional, "I don't shy away from the conversation but there are certain things that I find disrespectful... there are certain things I consider sacred and my daughter's sex life is one of them."

However, she told Monica, "I would never disrespect you like that." Meanwhile, Angie Katsanevas also claimed that Monica's question made Heather 'uncomfortable'.

She told the cameras, "I have known Heather since she was 15. Heather was a very strong young girl and here the topic of sex is making her very uncomfortable." She added, "It's hard to de-program ourselves after we talk about certain things our whole lives."

Heather Gay claims Ashley is 'the version of me'

In the previous episode of 'RHOSLC' Season 4, Heather Gay claimed that Ashley has been living a life that she would have if she hadn't been raised in a Mormon church.

Heather Facetimed her daughter, Ashley, who is enrolled at UC Santa Barbara, as she travelled to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, for spring break. Heather asked about the gateway which Ashley noted, "It was so good. Time of my life, I’m still on spring break mode."

Heather couldn’t help but wonder what her life would have been like had she not grown up in the Mormon church. She said, "I was thinking and seeing the world in a much different way when I was her age."

Heather elaborated, "I've read my journal, and it’s humiliatingly embarrassing…" She admitted, "In many ways, I feel like Ashley is the version of me if I hadn’t been raised in the church."
