The explosive fight between Candiace Dillard Bassett and Monique Samuels has left the ladies of Potomac shocked. While almost all the housewives seem to be on Candiace's side, after watching her get dragged by her weave in the hands of Monique during the fight, Karen Huger, however, wants to maintain a diplomatic stance over who is to be blamed for the fight.

Karen, who was present at the scene during the explosive fight, felt that both Monique and Candiace were equally at fault. Candiace was so upset following the fight that she not only went to see her therapist but also pressed charges against Monique on the grounds of second-degree assault. When the news of Candiace pressing charges against Monique broke out, the other housewives felt that Candiace might be taking things too far, as Monique could be imprisoned due to those charges.

But Candiace stood her ground and declared that Monique can't walk away without any consequences for her poor actions. All this while Karen kept her silence which only seemed to trigger Candiace further. In the preview clip for the upcoming episode, we see the two housewives get into a huge brawl over it. Candiace can be seen telling Karen that she just wants her to acknowledge that Monique's behavior was unacceptable. Karen gets annoyed and flips at Candiace for trying to pressurize her into supporting Candiace. Karen loudly declares that she won't be doing that as it would mean that she was abandoning Monique, and she would never abandon Monique.

Wendy Osefo walks in and adds her two cents, by firmly telling Karen that Candiace doesn't need her support, but she just wants Monique to be held accountable. Karen didn't look too pleased, We can't wait to see what Karen does next. Unfortunately for Karen, Monique might not be too pleased with her. We see Monique learning from Ashley Darby that the grand dame declared that if she were in Candiace's place, she would have pressed charges against Monique. It goes without saying that Monique was shocked on hearing that. Will Monique confront Karen over it? Whose side will Karen take? We will just have to watch the upcoming episode to get our answers.

'The Real Housewives of Potomac' Season 5 airs every Sunday at 9/8c only on Bravo.
