'RHONY' star Jessel Taank defends husband Pavit Randhawa after Erin Lichy spreads rumors about her marriage
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Erin Lichy seemed to have a lot to say about Jessel Taank and her husband, Pavit Randhawa.
However, it appears that the Indian Housewife who joined Bravo, Jessel will not stand any rumors about her family on 'The Real Housewives of New York City'.
Jessel can be seen advocating for her spouse in the new episode of 'RHONY'.
In an exclusive clip from the Sunday, October 8, episode of 'RHONY', released by Bravo, Jenna Lyons and Brynn Whitfield pay the PR guru husband a visit.
The event, however, takes a turn when the marketing consultant delivers a bombshell about rumors of her marriage being shared by certain members of the group.
A seemingly irritated Pavit can be seen saying to Jessel, Brynn, and Jenna, "I just don't get her," possibly referring to Sai De Silva or Erin Lichy, who had fueled simmering resentment with Jessel by constantly accusing her of being dishonest about her life and having relationship issues.
"She also thinks that you're just lying on everything. Remember the whole Vietnam thing?" Pavit says to the women before Jenna asks, "What's the whole Vietnam thing?"
In a flashback of Jessel and Brynn from a prior meeting at a sex shop, the former says, "He wants to go to Vietnam because he wants his alone time, so he had a ticket booked before Covid, and then he kept pushing it and pushing it, so now he has to go."
She also revealed that the ticket has been booked for three years now.
Pavit attempts to explain his decision to travel without his wife and children, "The thing is, the flights are not open yet. So they're supposed to open literally any second now because they just open up the borders and.. I'm counting down the second also."
Jessel doesn't care for him explain to others, as she adds, "Who cares? I wouldn't lie about something like that. It's a stupid thing to lie about."
Jessel Taank shuts down Erin Lichy's claims about Pavit Randhawa
As Pavit got up to get more champagne for the ladies, Brynn was ready with some tea of her own.
Brynn tells Jessel, "You know what Erin told me? She was like, 'Oh my god, Ubah asked the cutest question,'" she said, before recounting how the 'RHONY' star wandered around and asked the husbands in the group why they loved their wives.
According to Brynn, Erin recalled how Pavit told her that he adored his wife because "she lets me do what I want." Jessel quickly debunked the claim, saying, "That's exactly not what he said."
In another flashback, Pavit says, "It's being able to do what you love with someone else, and they put up with your shit."
Brynn continued how Erin pointed out Pavit wasn't wearing his wedding ring at that time either.
Jessel seemed furious with Erin's implications on her marriage as she slowly tried to gasp at what had been told about it amongst her castmates.
Who is Pavit Randhawa?
Pavit has a lengthy CV as an "experienced management consultant, investment banker, project leader, and adviser to senior executives with a background spanning strategy, operations, financial analysis, and M&A," according to LinkedIn.
In 2010, the Househusband was an assistant vice president at JPMorgan Chase and is now the president of Phone Daddy.
Pavit has declared himself the president of the New York City Street Food Association, a founding member of the Fried Chicken Committee, and the chief taste officer of the N.Y.C. Sandwich Society. All the organizations are made up, but that doesn't change the fact that he is a genuine gourmand.
The reality star's husband appears frequently on 'RHONY,' and even joined Jessel on 'Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen' in August 2023.
'The Real Housewives of New York City' Season 14 airs on Sundays on Bravo at 9 PM ET.
