'Real Housewives of Dallas': Fans call out Kameron Westcott for being mean and calling Brandi Redmond 'trash'

RHOD fans felt that Kam was being intentionally mean to Brandi by calling her 'trash'.

The usually sassy and feisty housewife, Brandi Redmond revealed her vulnerable side on the recent episode of ‘Real Housewives of Dallas’ which aired on September 25. She broke down when fellow housewife Kameron Westcott called her a “trash” in the middle of a heated argument. The word immediately struck a nerve with our former cheerleader housewife, who comes from humble beginnings.

Kameron seemed to be in a mood when she pointed out that she feels like there’s a cliquey behavior within the group, and specifically pointed her fingers at Brandi and Stephanie, and added that she felt very unwelcome due to the cliques. Brandi defended herself, which led to a heated argument between the housewives. At one point Kameron got so furious that she threw a napkin at Brandi’s face and calls her  “trash”. This, no doubt, ended up upsetting Brandi, who felt attacked as it reminded her of all the bullying and ostracization she experienced as a child for living in a trailer park.

Brandi then shared that this isn’t the first time Kam called her trash and said that she used the word intentionally to hurt her knowing that Brandi is still touchy about her past. Kam later apologized to Brandi, but immediately defended her choice of words by saying that she referred to Brandi’s behavior as 'trashy' and not her character or past.

Fans were unhappy with Kam’s choice of words and her half-hearted apology and called her out for being mean. A fan wrote, “People like Kameron are people who need to loose it all to become grateful/humble for what she has. She calls Brandi trash because she knows it hurts her... she’s done it multiple times and has never called anyone else that... shame on you Kameron, your just mean. #RHOD”.

Another fan tweeted, “Brandi is not trashy in the slightest. I reserve that term for nasty cruel people and she is the exact opposite. Would it have killed Kam to acknowledge the negative impact her words have had on Brandi?!? #RHOD”. A fan expressed her support to Brandi by saying, “I feel so bad for Brandi... it’s so common for people who live in mobile homes to get labeled as “trash” when in fact some people who live in them have more class than some people who live in mansions. Money can’t buy class... remember that! #RHOD”.
