'Real Housewives of Orange County': Is OG housewife and 'friend' Vicki jealous of new housewife Braunwyn?
New housewife Braunwyn Windham-Burke has managed to steal the spotlight with her carefree and unconventional lifestyle. In the premiere episode of Season 14, we saw some tension between the new housewife and former OG housewife, Vicki Gunvalson.
Vicki, who has been demoted to "friend" on the show, took an instant dislike for Braunwyn and made no efforts to disguise her feelings. We saw the former housewife calling Braunwyn names and being passive-aggressive towards her.
In Episode 11, which aired on October 15, we saw the former housewife openly expressing her dislike towards the new housewife calling her "trashy" and "classless". This led us to wonder if Vicki is jealous of the new housewife.
Episode 11 saw the housewives celebrating Shannon's birthday. During the celebrations, things began heating up between Tamra Judge and Braunwyn.
They exchanged a kiss, while Vicki who was seated near them, couldn’t help but wonder why the two ladies were enjoying the kiss so much considering they are not lesbians.
In her green room interview, she wonders if they are cheating. Later that evening, the ladies make their way to a bar, where Tamra and Braunwyn begin dirty dancing with each other.
Vicki looks annoyed and starts passing remarks about Braunwyn's dancing. She calls the new housewife "trash", and her dance "classless". In the green room interview, Vicki says Braunwyn is annoying for trying to be the center of attention all the time.
Kelly Dodd, however, calls out Vicki in her green room interview for being so uptight and prude. She calls Vicki a "two-bit hooker", and we see a clip from an earlier season when Vicki flashed all the ladies.
Vicki is certainly not a role-model for decent behavior, so her getting irked with only Braunwyn and not Tamra for the dirty-dancing and kissing, has us convinced that the former OG housewife is jealous of Braunwyn.
We believe there will be an epic showdown between the ladies later this season. We can’t wait to see whose side Tamra will be on, her "tres-amiga" Vicki or "girl-crush" Braunwyn.
