In the past, we heard Braunwyn Windham Burke mention in passing that her husband Sean Burke and she had split for a brief period while they were married. The housewife never got into details about what caused the split, although she did mention that both of them began seeing other people during their time apart. If you are curious to know why the Burkes split, then the upcoming episode of 'Real Housewives of Orange County' has all the answers.

In a preview clip released by Bravo for the upcoming episode, we see Gina Kirschenheiter and Braunwyn together in a car on their way to AA meeting. Following their ugly fight at Shannon's housewarming party, Braunwyn apologized to Gina and invited her to join an AA meeting with her and later grab some coffee and try to work through their issues. Gina was more than happy to take up on Braunwyn's offer, as she wanted to help her fellow housewife and understand what was going on in her life.

During their ride to the meeting, Gina uses the time to understand Braunwyn better. She asks her about her addiction and how she managed to live with it. Braunwyn then reveals that for the longest time she managed to turn a blind eye to it, as Sean was always there to manage her and help her out. Whenever she got drunk, he was always around to bring her back home, or babysit the kids, and help her out. But now, that she has come to terms with her addiction, the housewife expresses her desire to change things.

Gina admits in her green room interview that Sean and Barunwyn have a lot of work to do to undo their old patterns of behavior and work on their marriage. Out of curiosity, Gina asks Braunwyn if alcohol had anything to do with the time she split up from Sean. Braunwyn admits that it played a huge role, although she doesn't go into details of how it affected them. Braunwyn then confides in Gina that after Sean and she got back together, they decided to have another baby together so that she could stay sober. Braunwyn acknowledges that she used to get pregnant to ensure she was sober. Gina was shocked on hearing this from Braunwyn. Hopefully, this interaction might bring the housewives together and help them put their differences aside.

'Real Housewives of Orange County' Season 15 airs every Wednesday at 9/8c on Bravo.
