When Season 13 of 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' kicked off without OG housewife NeNe Leakes, several fans were hesitant about the drama factor on the show, and if the other housewives would be able to fill in the former housewife's big shoes. But turns out, we had nothing to worry about, for the latest season of Bravo's hit franchise continues to be as gripping and entertaining as ever. Based on the tease released by the network for the upcoming episodes, it's safe to say that 'RHOA' may have gotten a lot more dramatic and juicy this season. The Atlanta ladies entertained us with "snakegate" last season, and for the ongoing season they are back with "strippergate".

What is strippergate?

Controversies and dramatic fights go hand in hand on 'RHOA'. Ever since Season 13 of 'RHOA' was announced, the word "strippergate" has been thrown around in conjunction with the show. The latest season documents housewife Cynthia Bailey's marriage to Mike Hill during the pandemic. Like any other housewives event, the entire thing was plagued with drama. While the bride and the groom couldn't see eye to eye on the guest list and their big wedding bash, the other ladies too got dragged into the drama, thanks to Cynthia's celebrations.

We will get to witness the events of strippergate unfold during Cynthia's bachelorette trip. Cynthia and the housewives go on a getaway to celebrate the bride's bachelorette before her big day. The housewives end up having a little more fun than expected. They rope in a stripper to entertain the bride but looks like the other ladies end up having more fun than the bride. In the clip released by the network, we see the girls going on a trip. Once they reach their destination, the ladies can be seen getting wild while dancing with each other. Kandi Burruss announces, "You have entered the dungeon," while lashing a whip, as the other housewives enter wearing skimpy bodysuits and stockings.

We also see Porsha Williams dancing seductively and grinding against the male stripper hired by them. We can hear her nemesis Kenya Moore asking her why she was "rubbing all up on him". The clip ends with black and white footage as the camera zooms in on the outside of a bedroom. We hear women screaming from the inside. According to reports, some cast members reportedly hooked up with the stripper at the end of the party. The upcoming episodes of the show will feature the bride, Kenya and Kandi trying to uncover the details of what went down that night, and if their fellow housewives really hooked up with the stripper.

Kenya ends the clip by declaring, "Here is not enough holy water or sage in the world to erase what went down in this house." Although the stripper, who has been identified as Bolo, shared that nothing happened between him and the housewives, the rumors of Porsha and her friend Tanya Sam allegedly hooking up with him still continue to do the rounds. We will just have to wait and watch the show to see how the drama unfolds, and discover what exactly transpired between the housewives and the stripper.

'Real Housewives of Atlanta' Season 13 airs every Sunday at 8/7c only on Bravo.
