The reboot of Fox's hit family drama 'Party of Five' premiered on January 9, airing back-to-back episodes. Freeform's latest series was much-awaited, owing to the impact the original show had on the viewers.

While the show has appealed to the viewers for skillfully navigating the struggles of the Acosta family, it is being termed 'powerful' for its realistic portrayal of issues that are relevant in the present time.

"Everyone should watch the Party of 5 reboot. It's a hard watch but it's a lot of Latinix families' realities. I cried several times," said a fan.

While another added, "High key crying at this #PartyOfFive reboot. I was obsessed with the reboot back in the day, but the pilot for the new one was so good! The immigration storyline for the parents vs drunk driving accident is so relevant to today."
