Kick out the anti-aging creams, here's how facial exercises can help you stay younger
Research has now proved that you can look much younger with the help of facial exercises.
When it comes to growing older, very few of us actually embrace old age and old skin. Most of us are stuck trying to stop time from taking its natural course and will do literally anything to counter the process of aging. There are quite a few anti-aging methods and processes to try and counter aging but these processes tend to be very expensive and/or painful.
Scientists have recently found evidence which suggests there is an easy and non-expensive way that will allow and help people's faces to look younger in approximately just 20 weeks. Facial yoga is a totally natural way to make your face look fresh and young for a longer period of time by toning your face muscles. A normal body workout is very different from exercising the muscles in your face and most normal body workouts do not cover any exercises which involve toning up your facial muscles. Facial yoga also helps to highlight and enhance your jawline and it also enhances your cheekbones as well as shred the excess fat from your face.
Researchers from the University of Illinois stated how that 30 minutes of facial exercises a day can help to tighten and lift the cheeks on your face which will make you look a lot younger. Many people have been following these face practices for a while but scientists have only recently been able to prove that it really works.
According to the lead author of the study, Murad Alam, a dermatologist from the Northwestern University: "Now there is some evidence that facial exercises may improve facial appearance and reduce some visible signs of aging. The exercises enlarge and strengthen the facial muscles, so the face becomes firmer and more toned and shaped like a younger face."
The research was conducted on a relatively smaller group of people who took the 20 weeks long program and this experiment needs to be re-conducted on a much larger scale. The women were made to go through two face-to-face, 90-minute training exercises with an instructor. The women were then asked to practice these exercises at home. For the first eight weeks, the women had to do the exercises for 30 minutes and post that they were required to do the exercises every alternate day. The results of this experiment helped them to reach this conclusion.
These are seven facial exercises that you can do on your own:

This will help those with a double chin.

The fish face involves a person to purse their lips and create a fish like face by sucking the inside of your cheeks into the gap between the sides of your teeth.
