All of Twitter has been sending positive messages to the family.

Reality star Mackenzie McKee has had a tragic start to the New Year, with her mother Angie Douthit getting diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer on Wednesday. The 23-year-old reality star shared the heartbreaking news over a series of tweets, while also revealing that she hasn't "cried this hard in over ten years." The family had actually taken Angie to the hospital because they thought she had bronchitis and was shocked to learn the actual reason behind her illness.

Especially considering how healthy and fit Angie was, the news has shocked many of her dear friends and family members. Much like her daughter, Angie also often competes in marathons and awareness runs frequently. In fact, she recently completed a diabetes awareness run in November.
