Say it ain't so! Gwen Stefani has called off her wedding with Blake Shelton, and here's why...
The couple has been dating since November 2015.
A new report claims that Gwen Stefani has called off her wedding to Blake Shelton after months of planning the June ceremony. The mother-of-three began to panic about Shelton’s possible infidelity, and it resulted in a huge fight, with Stefani ultimately deciding the two shouldn’t tie the knot.
After Gwen's ex-husband Gavin Rossdale cheated on her, it is said that she became more and more insecure. Because of that, she can no longer tolerate any cheating in her relationship with Blake. The "No Doubt" singer is bothered by the closeness of Blake and last year's "The Voice" winner Chloe Kohanski.
Chloe was on Blake's team, and Gwen is reportedly not happy with their student-teacher relationship. It also adds that Gwen confronted Blake about the issue and told him that she already decided to call off their wedding.
“She started panicking about all the details — and about her future with Blake,” a source explains. “Gwen and Blake had a massive fight and Gwen called off the wedding.”
“Gwen feels as if she loves Blake more than Blake loves her right now,” the source says. “She told Blake all about her insecurities and how she couldn’t handle another heartbreaking divorce because of trust issues she needs to face.”
Sources claim the couple is still together and they will get married someday, but right now the couple is working on their issues. “Most friends believe they will still walk down the aisle someday, but Gwen and Blake have some things to work on first,” the source told Life & Style. “Trust is important and this isn’t the right time for a dream wedding.” After all, the source notes, “the last thing Gwen or Blake wants is another divorce.”
However, according to Gossip Cop, there isn't the least bit of truth in these stories.
The rumor-busting website says that Stefani and Shelton are not at war over Kohanski, and Stefani’s rep told them that reports of a wedding being called off are simply untrue. The couple isn’t anywhere near a split, and their relationship is not “on the rocks.”
The site also adds that Chloe has a boyfriend, which means that she is not with Blake at all. The outlet also clarifies that Gwen is not insecure or worried about having Blake cheat on her because the rumors are not true.
The truth about Stefani and Shelton is that they are happy and spent time together over the holidays having an outdoor adventure with her three sons, Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo.
US Weekly reports that just before the new year, Stefani documented their Oklahoma outings via multiple Instagram stories. Shelton and the boys all rocked camouflage clothes, and in one clip, the kids are roasting marshmallows and tossing wood on the fire.
Back indoors, they continued their holiday festivities by goofing off in pajamas in front of the Christmas tree.
Gwen and Blake met on the set of "The Voice." They confirmed that they were dating in November 2015. Gwen was married to Rossdale for 13 years and split in 2015. Meanwhile, Blake was formerly married to Miranda Lambert, but they called it quits after five years in July 2015.
