Kylie Jenner wants to retire from celebrity life, but she's got one thing standing in her way
The makeup queen wants to give up her celebrity status and focus instead on being a mom and a business woman.
Among all the Kardashians, Kylie Jenner has always craved for space and quiet. She may be just 20 but the reality star seems wise beyond her years. Having grown up in front of the cameras, she knows a thing or two about fame and the impermanence of it. Perhaps that's why she wants to divert her energies onto something else.
The makeup queen wants to give up her celebrity status and focus instead on being a mom and a businesswoman. Those close to her say, "She wants to be out of the spotlight right now, and she just wants to focus on getting ready for the baby." And part of that process also includes giving up on her reality TV career.
If Kylie goes through with this, she may not appear on Keeping up with the Kardashians anymore or she may back out of her own reality TV show, Life of Kylie. In any case, she's hardly appeared on this season of KUWTK and the ratings for Life of Kylie have been quite low. We wouldn't be surprised if her TV career comes to an abrupt end.
However, her family isn't fully sold on Kylie's retirement plan. Momager Kris thinks Kylie is having a knee-jerk reaction and it isn't yet time to say her goodbyes yet.
A source said, "Kris [Jenner] thinks there’s no way Kylie is ready for a peaceful, quiet, regular life just yet, and that once she’s had the baby she will want to be back out there," according to Hollywood Life.
Kris may have different plans for her daughter but it looks like Kylie has already taken a break from venturing out or even posting pictures of herself on social media. In the months since her pregnancy news leaked, she's only uploaded headshots and promoted her cosmetic line.

A source said Kylie has grown insecure about her body and fears being body-shamed like Kim was during her first pregnancy. The source added the 20-year-old is anxious that internet trolls may attack her for her body and doesn't want to make a public appearance until well after the delivery.
According to reports, Kylie is expected to deliver her baby, a girl, sometime in February. However, she still hasn't confirmed it.
A few days ago, Billboard asked Travis Scott if he'd spoken to his father about becoming a father. However, the 25-year-old rapper said, "Uh... for what? I don’t want to talk about that. They’re just guesses. Let them keep fishing."
Kylie and Travis were seen getting cozy in April last year at the Coachella music festival. The reality star, who's been good friends with the rapper for a long time, reportedly tried to make her then-boyfriend Tyga jealous. However, Kylie and Travis found a connection and soon started dating.
In June, they got matching butterfly tattoos and attended Khloe's 33rd birthday party where they were reportedly all over each other.
According to People, "They were super affectionate and Travis was constantly kissing Kylie on the cheek and whispering in her ear. Their relationship seems to be getting stronger and they’re closer than ever."
