Kendall Jenner's fans come to her rescue as cruel trolls mock her skin at the Golden Globes

While Kendall looked amazing on the carpet of the Golden Globes Award, many people went on to complain about the acne on her face.

It is hard to be a model and Kendall sure does know that. While the young Jenner has always received praise for her flawless skin and amazing fashion sense, she was slammed for having acne on her face while she attended the Golden Globe Awards.

One of her fans wrote how it was completely normal to have acne and there was no need to make a big deal about it. “You’re really out here talking s**t about her skin? You’re out here making fun of something that is a completely normal thing for everyone to go through? Grow up. Acne or not, she’s gorgeous," the comment read.

Another fan was quick to ask people to be understanding towards the problems that are faced by people. “Y’all need to stop making fun of Kendall’s face. I get Y'all have clear skin but a lot of us suffer from acne and it’s embarrassing enough and to have someone point it out…” read the comment.

Previously, Kendall had opened up about how acne was one of the biggest problems that she faced while growing up. According to the model, it was also the reason she was insecure throughout her teenage years. Her level of confidence dropped so much that she even found it hard to talk to people.

"Where it really impacted me was how self-conscious I became about it," Kendall said. "It completely ruined my self-esteem then. I wouldn't even look at people when I talked to them. I felt like such an outcast; when I spoke, it was with my hand covering my face."

Even in an interview with Allure, Kendall mentioned how her confidence kept dropping due to this. "It was not a good time for me—it just killed my self-esteem," Kendall said at the time. "I thought when I didn't look at someone, they couldn't see my face."

Kendall admitted that she had crushes while growing up but decided not to talk to them thinking they would make fun of her after looking at her face. She was on a rollercoaster ride of emotions but admitted that talking to her family about her struggles helped her a lot.

The reality star went on to explain how it took a while for her to gain the confidence that she had once lost. "What I want everyone to understand is that it's been a process: It wasn't anything that happened overnight," she wrote. "Even after things started to clear up, it took a solid amount of time to be okay with my skin and gain back my confidence."

There are still times when Kendall feels conscious when she gets one zit on her face but the model admitted that she is trying her best to get over it. "I'm working towards not caring and I'm just in so much of a better place about it all now that I'm older," Kendall wrote.

"I realized that it's a part of life for some people and it doesn't define who you are," she concluded. One of the ways through which Kendall was able to fight her acne was after she found an "incredible dermatologist" to help clear everything up.
