'Ray Donovan' The Movie: Live stream, release date, plot and all you need to know about Showtime's one-off project
‘Ray Donovan’ is undoubtedly one of the most intriguing shows of all-time and ended its run with seven brilliant seasons. However, the way Showtime decided to cancel the series is still debatable. The series was canceled after seven seasons without any advance warning, leaving fans and showrunner, David Hollander, in shock. Hollander already had a plan for Season 8, which was supposed to be the show’s last season.
The fans flooded the social media with the demand for another season or a movie that will give proper closure to the drama and it seems their prayers have finally been answered. Liev Schreiber began filming scenes for the upcoming two-hour movie in Boston. The actor took to Instagram saying, "Took us 8 years but we're here! So happy that we get to finish where it all started. Big up to Boston!!! @raydonovan #southie #finishwhereyoustart".
