If you're a 'Drag Race' fan, then you know just how important 'Snatch Game' is – seeing that the challenge takes place halfway through the competition, it's a crucial turning point of sorts. The challenge has queens impersonating famous personalities in a game show-like setting with one goal – to make RuPaul laugh. While that sounds easy enough, it's far from it. Queens not only have to ensure that RuPaul is in splits but also have to do so through mannerisms, tongue-in-cheek one-liners and great comic timing, all while staying in character.

Over the years, we've seen queens succeed phenomenally and some absolutely crash and burn during snatch game. With 13 seasons of 'Drag Race' and 5 seasons of 'All Stars' it's safe to assume that's there a holy grail of characters - a list of names you should never try to impersonate on 'Drag Race'. For example, Beyonce – we've seen Tyra do Beyoncé on season 2 and then Kenya Michaels later on Season 4. Both of which were absolute nightmares to watch.

At the same time, there are queens wh successfully redeem characters too – remember Mariah Paris Balenciaga's Joan Crawford in Season 3? We all know how Alyssa Edwards flipped that character in 'All Stars' Season 2. So when Gottmik announced that she'll be going with Paris Hilton for 'Snatch Game', the only thing running through our minds was none other than Raven's version of the heiress back on Season 2 of 'Drag Race' all the way back in 2010.

In Raven's defence, 'Snatch Game' had just been introduced that year and no one expected it to become a 'Drag Race' signature, seeing that the show was still testing waters with regards to what worked and what didn't. While the castmates Tatianna and Pandora Boxx absolutely nailed their performances and Brittany Spears and Caroline Channing, watching Raven was like watching the slowest ever train-wreck – her version of Paris Hilton was bored, slightly judge-y and totally over it and so were we.

Fast forward 11 years later to 2021 and we have Season 13 of 'Drag Race' on-air, a long, long way from Season 2. As the queens gear up for 'Snatch Game', we see Gottmik all ready and raring to go as the queen decides to go with Paris Hilton as her 'Snatch Game' character. RuPaul's advice prior to this challenge is simple but relevant - make sure you know your character well. Seeing that Gottmik has worked with the heiress before and interacted with her on a private level clear works to the queen's advantage – it helps the drag queen embody Hilton's party girl persona perfectly. To make matters more the stand-in guest judges for the challenge happen to be none other than Victoria 'Porkchop' Parker and Raven herself - the OG Paris Hilton of 'Snatch Game'.

For Raven to watch Gottmik absolutely thrive during 'Snatch Game' while redeeming Paris Hilton definitely bring the performances into a full circle, 11 years later. With Gottmik doing exceedingly well this week and scoring a second win, it's clear as day that Gottmik's rendition of the heiress was way better than Raven's. We wonder if Hilton herself would agree because we have to say it – Gottmik's version had us thinking – "That's Hot!"
