Royal fans ask Queen to take control of 'rogue players' Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after fallout with press
Prince Harry's latest attack on the British Press has not sat well with people who believe that the Queen needs to step in and control the young royal.
Journalist Piers Morgan did not hold back as he went after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for suing the Mail on Sunday. Morgan shared that he was not angry at the Duke and the Duchess for suing the paper but had an issue with the statement put out by Harry after the filing of the lawsuit.
Fans took to social media to express that Prince Harry had made a big blunder by filing the lawsuit and releasing the statement. One royal fan wrote, "The Queen needs to set these two rogue players straight. Abide by the rules or drop out of sight. Harry only married MM because William and Charles said don't do it. He's been a rebel all his life."
Another fan shared, "Harry must come back to earth and understand that he can't control the press, and he can't control public opinion. He's showing a concerning detachment from reality these days."
The Duke of Sussex Prince Harry accused the British press of 'relentless propaganda' and 'bullying.' He also said that history was repeating itself and his wife, Meghan, has fallen victim to the 'same powerful forces' his mother Diana did before her death. According to royal sources, Harry was warned against publishing the statement.
They also shared that Harry did not inform Prince Charles or his brother Prince William of the statement. The statement was published on a new Sussex website which was specifically created for it. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be taking legal action against the Mail which they started on Sunday. According to a spokesperson from Schillings who is representing the pair, the legal proceedings have been initiated against the Mail.
