Meghan Markle had received an angry message from the Queen during a row between Prince Harry, the duchess and senior royal aides.

Harry and Meghan have been in a huge row over their new and independent life outside the royal family. The Queen has banned Harry and Meghan from using their "Sussex Royal" brand though the couple has already pumped thousands of pounds into building the name. The Duchess of Sussex was reportedly told that "she gets what she's given," reveals Express magazine.

It has been reported that the Queen has crushed Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's plans and hopes of creating a "new progressive role" within the royal family as she "doesn't take kindly to be blindsided", a royal expert revealed. The Queen refused to allow Meghan and Harry to become minor royals and still carry out royal engagements and tours abroad.

It is believed that the Queen's relationship with the pair has been crumbling long before the couple made their bombshell announcement to step down as senior working members of the royal family. Reports of some friction between the Queen and the Sussexes first emerged after the pair's wedding in 2018.

At the time, the Queen had reportedly scolded both of them for their bad behavior. A royal insider spoke to The Sun last year and said, "Meghan had her heart set on this tiara with emeralds and Prince Harry hit the roof when they were told it was impossible for her to wear it. The provenance of the tiara could not be established. There were concerns it could have come from Russia originally."

Recently, royal brides have only worn tiaras featuring diamonds rather than colored jewels. Colored jewels are normally used for royals who have already shown their dedication to the crown via years of dedicated service. "There was a very heated exchange that prompted the Queen to speak to Harry," the source continued.

"The message from the Queen was very much Meghan needs to think about how she speaks to staff members and be careful to follow family protocols," a source shared. Harry and Meghan are due to step down as senior members of the royal family on March 31.
