This week's episode of 'Project Runway' was explosive. It had great fashion, gossip, drama and a lot of cockiness. The contestants were tasked with the tuxedo challenge, in which they had to reinvent the dinner jacket in ways that weren't dabbled with yet.

Brittany Allen has shown fantastic talent over the weeks and even winning one of the rounds. But this time she was out of her element and one could see it in the way she was confused between the fabric and its colors that she picked at Moods (the fabric store). As she tried to put together a look, that was mostly in shades of brown, mentor Christian Siriano stepped in, encouraged her to pick satin for her garment. Luckily, she had enough to stitch one whole piece of clothing, but the issues were her pants and the lapels, which were thin and clumsily stitched.

The judges — Nina Garcia, Elaine Welteroth, Brandon Maxwell, Karlie Kloss — and guest judge Thom Browne unanimously turned down her work, calling it the least impressive of the lot. They were in a shock because Brittany is a capable, highly-skilled designer and she has proved herself time and again. However, it was with a heavy heart that Karlie announced that she had been eliminated.

This was when Christian came in and used his 'Siriano Save' (this allows him to save an eliminated designer he thinks is capable of going ahead in the competition). Along with Brittany, her fellow designers celebrated the twist and so did Karlie on social media. She wrote: "First ever #SIRIANOSAVE!!! This episode did not come to play!! So well deserved Brittany!! Can’t wait to see what you do with it #ProjectRunway."

Meanwhile, fans are not one bit pleased because they thought it wasn't the best utilization of the 'Siriano Save.'

"Christian should not have saved Brittany. It wasn’t worth it. She’s sucked consistently throughout the show. They should have let her go. #ProjectRunway," a viewer pointed out.

"Brittany looks like charlotte russe puked all over her. Same with her designs! Pass . She shouldve went home . #projectrunway," another shared.

"He used his save in Brittany but basically made Chesley change her design and didn't do shit? #pressed #ProjectRunway," a user tweeted, whereas another expressed: "Baby I KNEW. I KNEW they were not gonna let Brittany go. It was too good to be true. Even though she presented a clear despicable look. Chile I can’t #ProjectRunway."
