There is another royal wedding on the way, and this time, one can hear the wedding bells in Monaco!
Monaco’s Princess Stéphanie, the daughter of Princess Grace Kelly, announced in a statement issued on Wednesday (February 21) the engagement of her son Louis Ducruet to Marie Chevallier in a brief statement which was issued by the Prince's Palace.
Louis also made this announcement on his Instagram by sharing the exact moment when Marie said yes to him. "Let me introduce you the future madame Ducruet," he captioned the picture. "She said yes and we are now engaged #withlove #engagement #proposal #iloveyou @mariehoachevallier."
Marie also shared the same picture with a caption, "Proud to announce that, I said YES to the love of my life @louisducruet I love you so so so much." Louis attended business school in France and in 2015 he received a bachelor’s degree in sports management from Western Carolina University in North Carolina.
Since his graduation, Louis has worked for Monaco’s championship soccer team, AS Monaco and has been serving as the recruiter for the club for the past two seasons. Louis and Marie had met in Western California. The two were classmates and it was during this that their friendship turned into love.
The bride-to-be holds a marketing degree from the school and is currently working as the banqueting and convention coordinator at the celebrated Hotel Hermitage in Monaco, according to People. There has been no other announcement made with regard to the wedding.
While Louis has spent most of his time away from media we cannot wait to see how he would want his wedding to be. Nonetheless, congrats to the new couple!
