Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal exit has taken the world by a storm. Bringing the many controversial aspects of their decision to light, a Fox special 'Harry & Meghan: The Royals in Crisis' reflected on what went wrong for the couple.

With their sudden announcement to move to Canada, the biggest question on everyone's minds is: Did Meghan influence Harry or was he always reluctant about the royal treatment? The hour-long special hinted at how Harry loved his life as a soldier more than a prince. In an old interview, he can be heard saying how he didn't take a shower for a couple of days and didn't change into fresh clothes in a week but still found it all to be “normal.”

What's more, he was also briefly tagged as the “party prince” who often went on the beaten path. His rebellious streak was much in the public eye and it didn't come as a surprise when his spouse of choice turned out to be a trailblazing woman herself. The answer seems to be right here: Prince Harry is a grown man who knows what he wants and Twitterati seem to agree on that point.

"It pisses me off the way they talk about Harry. Y do they keep acting like this grown-ass man can’t take care of himself? If he was intelligent enough to fly a helicopter or be in the army for 10 years he can go flip burgers at Burger King if he so chooses to do," one tweet read and another said, "Yo people should look up Prince Harry’s response to the public literally stealing his grief away when his mother died and take notes."

Others, meanwhile, think that Meghan is a bad influence on Prince Harry and he will only see it in the future. "I don't, he is certainly infatuated with her, of that there is no doubt, but once he has thrown off the influence of his family and Meghan has complete control, I think then perhaps not immediately he will realize where things are headed and reality strikes home. #HarryandMeghan," one viewer wrote.

Another said, "Calling it 'stepping back' doesn't change the truth #PrinceHarry--you QUIT. Bailed. Deserted your post. Like w Uncle David the family didn't see it through your spoiled child's perspective. Adults do not applaud quitters."

As the couple moves to Canada to start their life, only time will tell if it proves to be a boon or bane. With inputs from Mark Cuban, Dr Phil, Ryan Seacrest, Piers Morgan and Lisa Vanderpump, the special aired on Fox at 8 pm ET.
