'Press Your Luck' is a primetime revival of the 1980s daytime game show which ran for three seasons on CBS. The revival hosted by Elizabeth Banks and announced by Neil Ross (who also voices the 'Whammy') is a 60-minute game show television series, which premiered on June 11, 2019 on ABC. It continued as a limited summer series.

The series was then renewed for a second season which premiered on May 31, 2020, a third season, which premiered on May 26, 2021, and a fourth season, is set to premiere on July 7, 2022. Elizabeth Banks will return to host 'Press Your Luck' for its fourth and wildest season yet.

What is 'Press Your Luck' Season 4 all about?

Hosted by Banks, 'Press Your Luck' is a game of wits, strategy and even higher stakes as contestants try to avoid the iconic and devilish WHAMMY for a chance at life-changing cash and prizes. During each game of 'Press Your Luck', three contestants compete against each other answering questions to earn spins on the Big Board. Contestants then use their spins to win cash and prizes while trying to avoid the WHAMMY, who could take all of their winnings and leave them with nothing. The winning contestant moves on to the bonus round to face the WHAMMY in a final battle for the chance to win $1 million.

Elizabeth Banks will return to host the fourth season of 'Press Your Luck'. She is an actress, director, producer and host. She is famous for playing Effie Trinket in 'The Hunger Games' film series (2012–2015) and Gail Abernathy-McKadden in the 'Pitch Perfect' film series (2012–2017). Banks made her directorial film debut with 'Pitch Perfect' 2 (2015), and also directed, wrote, produced, and starred in the action comedy film 'Charlie's Angels' (2019). Banks founded the film and television production company Brownstone Productions in October 2002, with her husband Max Handelman.

On television, Banks had a recurring role on the NBC sitcom '30 Rock', which earned her two Primetime Emmy Award nominations. She had recurring roles on the comedy series 'Scrubs' and 'Modern Family', the latter of which earned her a third Primetime Emmy Award nomination.
